Mariona Trilla was born in Barcelona, Spain where she played and won several singles and doubles tournaments using an aggressive style at the net. She came to the US to play tennis for Western Carolina University with a full scholarship from 2005-2008. For the past two years, she has taught tennis at High Hampton. She focuses on youth development and net game, both of which are her specialties and passion.
