High Hampton Inn offers a number of North Carolina wedding venues for celebrations of all sizes. Bridal parties also have the option to reserve the entire estate for their NC destination wedding.
One of the most popular wedding venues on the property is the Inn’s spacious side lawn. Overlooking the 35-acre shimmering Hampton Lake and Rock Mountain, this area provides a picturesque backdrop for a couple to exchange their vows. The area includes
three levels of natural seating, giving guests a clear view of the happy couple exchanging vows.
Another bridal favorite is the Inn’s front lawn. Surrounded by the heirloom tree garden, which features a Ginkgo tree, Bottlebrush Buckeye, Bald Cyprus, a fiery Copper Beech, and one of America’s tallest Frasier Firs that were all planted more than 100 years ago, many brides decide to wed their grooms in the shadows of these
giant trees. This area can also be set up to host a tented reception complete with seated dining and a dance floor.
Couples who would like to celebrate indoors can choose The Pavilion for their reception. Decorated in warm earth tones, chandeliers, and wood-beamed ceilings, the airy room can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated dinner. Outside, a cobblestone patio complete with a fire pit and a columned portico, surrounded by flowering gardens, is a beautiful setting for cocktail hour providing guests with stunning views of the estate.
For additional guests, brides can opt to add on a tent overlooking the driving range.
Lakeside Laurel Garden
The Lakeside Laurel Garden provides the perfect setting for a small reception or a memorable rehearsal dinner. Tucked away among the mountain laurels and rhododendrons and offering stunning views of Rock and Chimney Top Mountains and Hampton Lake, this cozy nook can accommodate 80 guests for a seated dinner. A large stone fireplace
provides a romantic glow and warmth on colder mountain nights, while spotlights hidden in the trees give the area a magical feeling.
Wade Hampton Room
Located in the lower level of the Inn, the Wade Hampton Room is another great space for an indoor rehearsal dinner or a smaller reception. The Wade Hampton Room features a raised, wood-beamed ceiling with recessed lighting; a natural color palette, and a hardwood floor center-section that makes the perfect dance floor. The space can accommodate 60 guests for a seated dinner.
Rock Mountain Tavern and Terrace
The Rock Mountain Tavern and Terrace is a charming space for the groom and his groomsmen to enjoy a drink before the wedding ceremony. The expansive patio
overlooks Hampton Lake and Rock and Chimney Top Mountains and features a fire pit.
An NC destination wedding at High Hampton Inn offers bridal parties and guests access to a number of exciting mountain amenities.
